Veronika Baliubash

Hi!

I am Veronika, a costume designer from Lahti, Finland. I've graduated from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor's degree in Cultural and Arts.

Art, aesthetics and fashion have always been an important part of my life, and it has certainly been influenced by figure skating. And that´s how my passion for designing and making performance & competion costumes was born.

As a figure skater I know how important costume is to athletes and perfomers. Unique, beautiful and comfortable costume will boost confidence and improve your performance. As a costume designer, I take into account all the needs and wishes of the performer to produce unique and high-quality result.

I´ve also worked in tv- and theatre productions, and designed costumes for a music video. In my opinion, the best part of costume design is expressing an individual's personality and telling a unique story through costumes.
